About This RoleEast Caithness Health and Social Care Team at Pulteney House, Wick is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves supporting patients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence after leaving hospital and delivering high‑quality care.
Responsibilities- Assist patients in maintaining independence at home and support them following hospital discharge.
- Provide flexible, initiative‑driven care to high standards.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery to the local community.
- Driving licence essential and access to own vehicle for work purposes.
- No prior experience required, although experience is beneficial; full training and opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care will be provided.
- Open to candidates not eligible for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Permanent part‑time post of 17.27 hours per week.
Hours:
5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 4 days on, 4 days off (or in line with service requirements). Effective from 1 April 2026, pay will be adjusted proportionally to maintain an unchanged hourly rate.
