Job Title: Senior QC Microbiology Technician
Location: Lonay (Vaud, Switzerland)
Activity rate: 100%
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Senior QC Microbiology Technician, you support environmental sampling, perform bioburden and endotoxin testing, execute EM monitoring, conduct method validation and equipment qualification, lead investigations on OOS/OOT and contamination events, ensure GMP documentation and data integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement across microbiology workflows while mentoring junior technicians.
What Will Make You Successful- Proficiency in bioburden, endotoxin, water testing, EM monitoring
- Experience in method validation and verification
- Strong understanding of GMP, ISO
13485, Data Integrity - Ability to analyze microbiological data and identify root causes
- Effective communication and training capabilities
- Autonomy, stress management, adaptability
Bachelor or Master in Microbiology, Biology or similar field, with experience in regulated environments (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology).
Professional ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience in QC microbiology laboratory performing bioburden, endotoxin, EM and water testing, including method validation and interpretation of results.
