Salary: £42,839 - £44,075 per annum
36 hours per week

As Insurance Manager, you will play a significant role in helping to deliver the Council's priorities. The provision of an effective Insurance service is key to supporting the Council's financial resilience and to ensuring the ongoing delivery of essential services to Knowsley's residents.
To be successful, you will have sound knowledge of insurance legislation and experience in managing a team handling a broad variety of insurance claims. You will be able to advise client services on the Council's insurance policies and have experience of delivering successful renewal and tender exercises.
You will need to be able to plan and prioritise activities across competing demands with confidence and have the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have a strong customer focus with the customer experience at the heart of the services you deliver. You will also have a demonstrable track record of leading, developing and managing highly performing teams.
