We are looking for an 'amazing' Radiology Appointments Officer to work within a team of dedicated staff within the Radiology Department.
The successful candidate will need to always provide high level customer service and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She/he will be expected to cover reception duties and be responsible for providing a central service for the scheduling of all radiology appointments by ensuring compliance with IR(MR)
R, RCR guidelines, Trust and department guidelines/protocols. She/he must communicate with patients, consultants and staff at all levels and possess the ability to empathise with patients and relatives regarding procedures and appointments.
The candidate must be computer literate, have clerical experience and possess numeracy and literacy skills. Knowledge of the CRIS and Lorenzo system would be an advantage, but training will be given on the job.
The candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours to meet service level requirements and will be required to work at Warrington and Halton Hospitals (both sites) to suit service needs. Core hours will be Monday‑Friday 8am‑8pm with requirement of weekend and evening working on a rotational basis to support the departmental schedules.
