An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Forget-Me-Not, Frimley ICBs Maternal Mental Health Service focusing on pregnancy loss before 24 weeks gestation and fertility difficulties. As the service covers East Berkshire, Surrey Heath, and North‑East Hampshire and Farnham, you would be expected to offer online assessment and intervention based  main service is open Monday to Wednesday with other colleagues running clinics in Camberley, Farnham, and Slough, although we can be flexible in terms of days (Monday to Thursday preferred).

duties of the job

You will provide highly developed expert psychological clinical advice on the evidence‑based approach for patients at point of case allocation and thereafter at review where appropriate.

Provide advice on assessment; formulation and treatment to team members and others where appropriate provide ongoing practical advice and support through supervision, case review and joint assessment or intervention.

Will be responsible for expert psychological assessment, case formulation and treatment for a designated number of patients.

Work to deliver Trust targets and, as such, operate within the principles of recovery and support each patient to reduce dependence on Mental Health Services, enabling a planned discharge as part of the patients recovery plan.

Be responsible for the assessment (including risk assessments), formulation, adjustment and recommendations for psychological care.

Qualifications
  • Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical psychology (or equivalent) OR post‑graduate training in CBT.
  • HCPC/BABCP Registration.
Experience
  • Experience of working with people who require Maternal Mental Health Support.
  • Evidenced post qualification training and expert knowledge in areas of specialism and the ability to use knowledge when interacting on health and social care subjects.
