Head of Operational Quality – Richmond Villages (Bupa)

Home based with national travel to our Richmond Village Sites and head offices

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join us as Head of Operational Quality
, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance across our care homes and domiciliary services.

As Head of Operational Quality, you’ll:

• Lead on clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management across Richmond Villages.
• Partner with the Managing Director and operational leaders to drive continuous improvement.
• Support and oversee the performance of CQC Registered Managers.
• Use clinical metrics and data to identify risks and ensure early intervention.
• Represent Richmond Villages in clinical governance forums and with external stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including dementia care and service innovation.

• Strong understanding of the UK care sector and CQC regulatory framework.
• Proven experience in senior leadership roles within quality assurance.
• Ability to influence at all levels, including with regulators and senior stakeholders.
• Passion for person-centred care and improving resident outcomes.
• Experience managing nursing care homes is advantageous.
