HSEQ Support Ltd provides high-quality consultancy services in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Support to organisations. Services include Health and Safety Advisor support, Site Safety Auditing, Accreditation Support, and implementation of ISO management systems.

Role Description

We are open to this role being either a Full-Time or Part-Time hybrid role for a HSEQ Consultant based from our Office in Rochester, Kent with some work from home flexibility (dependent on client requirements).

This will be a predominantly SITE BASED role, working with customers at their locations, or remotely / from the office.

The HSEQ Consultant will be responsible for providing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management consultancy, conducting audits, assisting with accreditation support, developing, implementing and maintaining management systems to ISO standards, and assisting clients with advice, decelopment of Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work and Incident Investigations, amongst other duties as required.

Strong IT skills, ability to work individually and as part of a small team are essential.

Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience in working with a range of businesses, including those in the construction / built environment required
  • Travel is associated with role; must be prepared to commute to different customer locations where required (overnight / national work is rare, but may be required from time to time - can be discussed)
  • Strong Knowledge of CDM and Fire Safety
  • MINIMUM L5/6 H&S qualification, Environmental Qualification also preferred
  • Strong Knowledge of current legislation and best practices
  • Consulting background is preferred
  • Strong Health and Safety background especially with development of Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work, development and implementation of management systems
  • Auditing experience; formal qualification in auditing not essential but preferred.
  • Experienced in using Office
    365 systems including word, teams, excel, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of, and experience working with (Design and Implementation) and being Audited to, ISO standards (e.g., 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • ISO 27001 experience useful but not essential
  • Negotiable dependent on experience and preference on number of working days
