Responsibilities

  • Supervise teams within the Outpatient Booking Team at Aintree Hospital, working to local and national targets.
  • Use all relevant IT systems to support outpatient booking.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure delivery of outpatient booking targets.
  • Work with the Specialty Teams to develop solutions for clinic capacity and demand and monitor performance.
  • Undertake and support clinic utilisation.
  • Manage annual leave, sickness and appraisals in accordance with Trust policy.
  • Demonstrate good IT skills, meet deadlines, have team‑building skills and be a good communicator.
Qualifications
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant area, previous experience of working in outpatients.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems.
  • Experience of managing/supervising staff.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience of training staff, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent prioritisation and time‑management skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to produce reports together with recommendations.
