Join our inspiring team as a Social Worker in the Targeted Review Team in Medway, UK, earning £38 per hour. This exciting locum position is for three months and offers you the chance to engage deeply in adult social care, making a tangible difference in people’s lives. Working within the People:
Children and Adults Directorate, particularly focused on Adult Social Care, you will gain valuable experience and contribute positively to the community. This full-time role will primarily involve working face‑to‑face with individuals to ensure that their needs and voices are central to their care planning and assessment.

What you will do:
  • Manage a mixed caseload within the community social work teams, delivering high-quality, person-centred assessments and interventions.
  • Work to support adults with care and support needs, their families, and carers to live as independently as possible following a strengths-based approach.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders, promoting multi-agency collaboration and advocating for the needs of adults in line with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for strategy meetings and court cases.
  • Keep abreast of current research and theoretical models in social work to ensure practice remains innovative and effective.
  • Demonstrate good time management and organisational skills to handle competing demands.
