About the RoleParagon Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced carer for day shifts to support a friendly teenage client living in an adapted flat in Wandsworth SW18. The client has sustained a spinal cord injury with paralysis from the chest down. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting daily living tasks, assisting the client to college, and offering companionship to encourage engagement with college life.

Weekdays 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM;
Weekends 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay Rate
:
- Weekday (Day): £15.19 per hour
- Weekend (Day): £18.23 per hour
- Bank Holidays paid at 150 % and Christmas at 200 % (double pay)
Schedule
: 3–4 or more shifts per week. Optionally, eligible staff may be part of a Standby rota working from home.
- Observe and record the client’s health status.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Ensure the client’s safety.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Notify client of changes in medications.
- Arrange transportation for client appointments.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check or online sign‑up.
- References.
- Female carer required for personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part
1). - Willingness to learn and follow the client’s lead.
