An exciting opportunity for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Occupational Therapy service supporting neurodiverse children and young people across schools, homes, community settings and clinics. Salary
£48,000 - £52,000 per annum + benefits

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Crondall, Hampshire (GU10), with travel across Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas.

About the Role
As a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will support neurodiverse children and young people aged 2–25 years across educational, community, home and clinic settings throughout Hampshire. Working within an established specialist Occupational Therapy service founded in 2012, you will provide high-quality assessments and interventions focused on improving participation, independence and functional outcomes. You will support children and young people with autism, sensory processing difficulties, learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, specific learning difficulties and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Clinical Environment
Referrals are received from NHS services, schools, paediatricians, solicitors, charities and private sources, creating a varied and rewarding caseload. You will work across private healthcare and private education settings while contributing specialist expertise within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans and interventions
- Support neurodiverse children and young people aged 2–25 years
- Complete EHCP assessments, recommendations and associated reports
- Deliver therapy across school, home, clinic and community environments
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome reporting
- Work collaboratively with families, schools and multidisciplinary professionals
- Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice and recommendations
- Contribute to tribunal reports and professional evidence where required
- Maintain HCPC standards, safeguarding responsibilities and clinical governance requirements
Requirements
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK with no sponsorship requirement
- BSc Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registration and RCOT Membership
- Minimum 2–4 years' paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience supporting neurodiverse children, autism and sensory processing needs
- Knowledge of Children's Occupational Therapy, SEN support and EHCP processes
- Experience delivering Occupational Therapy interventions and Sensory Integration-informed practice
- Strong communication, relationship-building and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and ability to travel across Crondall, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas
