At Evolve Psychology Services, we empower our clinicians with the tools and support they need to focus on delivering exceptional care to children, young people, and their families. You will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team specializing in high‑quality, evidence‑based autism and ADHD assessments through both NHS‑funded and private pathways. This hybrid position offers part‑time or full‑time commitments of a minimum of three days a week.
Mainduties of the job
You will contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping ensure timely and accurate diagnoses that lead to improved outcomes for families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting face‑to‑face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
- Conducting remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
- Participating collaboratively in peer MDT diagnostic discussions
, supported by senior clinicians when needed. - Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families.
- Producing accurate clinical reports
, including diagnostic formulations, with the aid of our smart tools. - Working efficiently to meet service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Providing clinical supervision where applicable.
- Supporting service development projects and quality checking assessment reports.
- Traveling to a clinic base to conduct in‑person assessments (hybrid only).
- Hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counseling, or Educational).
- Minimum of 1 year post‑registration experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
- In‑depth knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
- Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2 and ADI‑R.
- Effective time management and caseload organisation skills, with the ability to meet clinical deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
- Highly developed written language skills used to produce high‑quality clinical reports.
- Well‑developed communication skills with children, young people, and families, ensuring compassionate, clear, and professional interactions.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
