IBD Admin Assistant

Contractual Requirements
  • Regular attendance and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
Knowledge
  • Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of NHS
  • Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare administration systems and processes
  • Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets, i.e. PAS, Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good telephone communication skills
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
  • Health and Safety
  • Equality and diversity
  • Knowledge of IBD and relevant treatments
  • Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems - as applicable to speciality
Qualifications
  • Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above
  • RSAII (or equivalent)
  • ECDL
  • NVQ in Business Administration level II
  • NVQ in Customer Care
Experience
  • Quality Customer Service
  • NHS knowledge and qualification equivalences if necessary
  • Experience of working with multiple team members of differing levels of responsibility
