The Opportunity:
We need a Supervisor, Patient Services – Emergency Department & ICU to join our leadership team! You want to be our first supervisor supporting these departments and make a difference. Our Emergency Department is extremely busy with growing volumes to support our population and we operate a 5 bed Level 2 ICU. An Emergency Department Flow project is currently underway. This role will also support our respiratory therapy group.
This role will join a leadership team that is engaged in not only supporting today’s patient care and teams but is planning for Tomorrow’s Hospital. This role will collaborate with the Hospital Development team to support the planning process.
You won’t lead these teams alone! In addition to being supported by the Chiefs of Service in each area, CGMH is introducing a new model to support our leadership team continue to elevate quality and support our inspired team. You work closely with the Manager of the Emergency Department and ICU on all core leadership responsibilities and preparation for Accreditation in 2027.

What You’ll Bring
RequiredA Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioMinimum 5 years of applicable clinical experience in an acute care settingMinimum of 1 years experience in a leadership roleExperience in critical care/emergency medicine nursingDemonstrated ability to drive quality improvement and program initiativesProven ability to influence from a people centered lens with an education focus, data informed decision making and curiosity to support strategic prioritiesStrong evidence of ability to work independent and collaboratively to achieve outcomesWork collaboratively to elevate clinical quality, patient safety and high standards of careStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build positive relationships, enhance collaboration across departments, and create a cohesive, team-oriented environmentPreferred
