About The Job

Contract type:
Permanent. Hours per week: 37. Salary: £47,181–£50,269 a year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance. Commissioning Manager to develop and deliver commissioning strategies that will transform the lives of residents in Luton. The Commissioning Service sits within the Population Wellbeing Directorate and works with Health Partners and local Voluntary and Community Sector to find innovative solutions. The role will be a core member of the Commissioning Team, delivering work across a range of portfolios, developing new commissioning strategies, and playing a key role in monitoring the delivery of existing services to drive performance.

Applicants must meet work demands, targets and deadlines, and have the ability to manage staff and budget responsibilities. Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.

About You
  • Dynamic Commissioner who wants to make a difference to people accessing Adult Social Care services.
  • Passionate about working with residents, providers, partners and staff to maximise resident outcomes and Value for Money.
  • Great interpersonal, data analysis and project management skills.
