Position: Disability Case Manager Hybrid Role

As a Disability Case Manager I with CLIC, you will play a crucial role in the Group Benefits team, managing both short-term and long-term disability claims. Your expertise in investigating claims will help streamline processes and enhance service excellence for clients. You will collaborate with claimants, employers, and treatment providers to implement effective case management plans and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and adjudicate short-term disability claims

• Develop and implement case management plans

• Calculate and issue benefit payments accurately

• Communicate with claimants to assess claims decisions

• Prepare claim files for long-term disability transition

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in disability claims management

• Post-secondary degree in related fields

• Associate, Life and Health Claims designation

• Knowledge of disability management practices

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
