Role Summary

Our North service is looking for a Team Manager to join an established team based in our Doncaster office but with the flexibility to work from home.
Whilst sitting within the Five Rivers North service, the Doncaster office covers such a large geographical area that it is split into two, Doncaster North Team and Doncaster South Team. This role is to manage our Doncaster North Team which covers Leeds, Bradford, York, other areas of North Yorkshire, East Riding, Hull and North Lincolnshire.
You will need to be someone with strong leadership qualities and a passion for improving outcomes for children is desirable for this role.
You must be registered with Social Work England and either hold a Management or Leadership qualification or be prepared to undertake training on this.
There is an expectation of travel across the region to attend carer connection groups, training and managers meetings.
This is an exciting, but demanding opportunity for someone to continue to build on an established fostering team. This will require someone with Vision, Energy and strong Leadership and Management skills to achieve what we expect of the service in the future.
Hours and Working HoursHours: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4:30pm. This is a full-time role of 37 hours covering 5 days per week, with some flexibility working from home when agreed by the service manager. Some flexibility will be required.

- Experience working in the fostering sector or with children/young people in social care
- A formal social work qualification
- Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England
- Have a valid driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
£44,856.50 to £50,881 p.a. + Car Allowance and On-Call Allowance
