Medical secretary 1 year fixed term full time

- Produce accurate correspondence, clinic notes, and medical documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Manage consultant diaries and clinic workflows to support seamless patient journeys.
- Handle patient enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in line with organisational and clinical standards.
- Liaise effectively with consultants, clinical teams, theatres, and reception to support smooth operational delivery.
- Uphold our values through excellent communication, integrity, and a patient centred approach in every interaction.

What Youll Be Doing
You will play a vital role in ensuring an efficient, welcoming, and wellcoordinated service for our consultants and patients. You will:
- Produce accurate correspondence, clinic notes, and medical documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Manage consultant diaries and clinic workflows to support seamless patient journeys.
- Handle patient enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in line with organisational and clinical standards.
- Liaise effectively with consultants, clinical teams, theatres, and reception to support smooth operational delivery.
- Uphold our values through excellent communication, integrity, and a patient centred approach in every interaction.
About You
You will be someone who brings a positive, kind, and professional attitude to their work. Youll also have:
- Experience in medical secretarial work.
- Excellent typing and document production skills, with strong accuracy and grammar.
- Confidence using digital systems, including Microsoft Office and patient management software.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
- A commitment to providing an excellent patient experience every day.
Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough
Contract Type: Permanent, FIXED TERM (12 months)
Salary: up to £27,144.00 per annum, depending on experience
In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment. We have assessed this role and it does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. As such, we will not be accepting any visa sponsor ships for this role, and candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK independently, without sponsorship from Horder Healthcare.
