Health Promotion Coordinator

Position: Health Promotion Coordinator Hybrid Role
Contribute to public health efforts in Nova Scotia as a Health Promotion Coordinator with Nova Scotia Health. This full-time position features a flexible, hybrid work model focusing on community collaboration.

Reporting to the Zone Manager, you'll play a critical role in assisting Community Health Boards achieve their community health goals. Responsibilities include support for Board operations, volunteer recruitment, and leading participatory health planning cycles that adhere to the principles of health promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the effective operations of Community Health Boards

• Lead community health and planning initiatives

• Manage volunteer recruitment and training processes

• Develop strategies aligned with health promotion principles

• Follow local CHB Operations Manual guidelines

Requirements:

• Degree in Health education or related discipline

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Familiarity with program evaluation methods

• Strong skills in report writing and facilitation

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
