– Key Responsibilities
1. Provide daily live-in care and support for an 85-year-old service user with Alzheimer’s disease.
2. Assist with daily routines, personal organisation and safe movement around the home.
3. Prepare healthy meals and support regular eating and drinking routines.
4. Do shopping and run basic errands when required.
5. Support the service user with medication reminders, if agreed with the employer and family.
6. Provide companionship, conversation and reassurance throughout the day.
7. Help maintain a calm, safe and comfortable home environment.
8. Carry out light household duties related to the service user’s daily living.
9. Observe changes in mood, behaviour or health and report concerns to the family or responsible person.
10. Respect the dignity, privacy and individual needs of the service user at all times.## Live-in Care Assistant UK – Requirements
1. Previous experience as a care assistant, live-in carer, elderly care worker or similar position is required.
2.
Experience with dementia care or Alzheimer’s care is highly welcome.
3. Driving licence category B is required.
4. Ability to do shopping, prepare meals and support household routines.
5. Patient, calm and respectful approach to elderly care.
6. Good communication skills and responsible attitude to work.
7. Reliability, honesty and ability to work in a private home environment.
8. Readiness to live at the service user’s home during working days.
9. Basic or communicative English is expected for daily communication.
10.
