This casual/relief role involves providing essential assistance to patients needing support in daily activities. You will work with a dedicated team, helping clients maintain their health and safety according to care plans. Effective communication and teamwork will be crucial in your interactions with patients and their families across various care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility for patients

• Observe and document patients' health and mood changes

• Aid in organized activities to improve patient engagement

• Ensure patient safety while under professional supervision

• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare teams

Requirements:

• Active registration or eligibility with CLHA as an HCA

• HCA Certificate completion required within 18 months

• Satisfactory criminal record check needed before employment

• Adherence to safety and ethical standards

• Promoting diversity in patient care
