We're looking for a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our team and play a key role in helping people live the life they choose. You'll be supporting adults with multiple learning and physical disabilities, aged from their mid-twenties to mid-sixties, to enjoy everyday moments, build connections, and experience the things that matter most to them.

Whether that's sharing a meal, spending time with friends, enjoying a favourite hobby, exploring the local community, or simply having a relaxed day at home, you'll help make those moments possible. About the Role As a Senior Support Worker, you'll lead by example, helping to create a warm, welcoming and person-centred culture where everyone is valued and heard. Working closely with the Frontline Manager, you'll:
Develop and manage staff rotas Complete supervisions and support staff development Deputise for the Frontline Manager when required Coach and mentor colleagues through day-to-day guidance, reflection and encouragement Identify learning and development opportunities within the team Promote high-quality, person-centred support in everything you do Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll provide hands-on support tailored to each person's individual needs. This may include:
Medication administration and support Supporting people with eating and drinking, including PEG feeding Encouraging independence and choice in everyday life Supporting people to enjoy activities they love, such as swimming, arts and crafts, meals out, community events and day trips in our minibus Our homes are places where people live, not services where people are placed. Staff and the people we support share meals, celebrate achievements, build relationships and enjoy life together.

Shares our values and commitment to person-centred support Has experience supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs Enjoys developing and supporting others Can lead with compassion, confidence and positivity Is committed to helping people live fulfilling lives on their own terms Held a UK manual or automatic Licence for 2 years or more Working Pattern Full-time: 37.5 hours per week Working on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays Be Part of Something Meaningful Join Mac Intyre and become part of a team that values people, relationships and community.

IND About you You'll need experience working with vulnerable people, ideally those with a learning disability. Perhaps you have been a Support Worker or Care Worker and are now looking to step up to a more senior role.
