* We are specifically looking for candidates who have independently handled prior authorizations using Availity and other US insurance payer portals.  Candidates without this experience will not be shortlisted.

If you have  2+ years of experience in a US medical practice , strong EHR knowledge, a background in  Life Sciences (BDS,

B.Pharm, MBBS, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or related healthcare disciplines) , excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working in a technology-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Independently submit, track, follow up, and obtain prior authorizations through  Availity  and other US insurance payer portals.
Handle prior authorizations for  spine surgeries ,  spinal injections , and related procedures.
Coordinate with insurance companies, physician offices, and patients to resolve authorization-related issues.
Manage referrals and coordinate with referring providers.
Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
Handle inbound and outbound patient calls using  Ring Central .
Configure and manage Ring Central settings as required.
Manage and update patient information within  eClinical

Works (eCW) ,  Epic , and other EHR platforms.
Prepare provider schedules and calendars.
Order laboratory tests and medication refills as directed.
Prepare reports, trackers, dashboards, and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, and other productivity applications.
Prepare credentialing packets for providers and healthcare facilities.
Monitor, organize, and process incoming faxes accurately.
Manage shared email inboxes and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
Track pending tasks and workflows to completion.
Contact patients, providers, insurance companies, and healthcare facilities by phone and email and other applications.
Analyze patient lists to identify preventive care opportunities and pending actions.
Upload, scan, and organize documentation within EHRs and other applications.
Support physicians and facilities with additional administrative and operational responsibilities.
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

Mandatory Qualifications

Degree in  Life Sciences  (BDS,

B.Pharm, MBBS, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or related healthcare discipline).
Minimum  2 years of experience  in a US medical office.
Strong hands-on experience with  Availity  and other US insurance payer portals.
Experience independently managing prior authorizations from submission through approval.

Experience with  spine, pain management, orthopedic, or procedural prior authorizations  preferred.
Experience managing referrals, patient scheduling, and clinical workflows.
Strong working knowledge of  eClinical

Works (eCW), Epic , or similar EHR systems.
Experience using  Ring Central  or similar cloud telephony platforms.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability.

Technology Requirements

The ideal candidate should:
Be a confident user of Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, and web-based applications.
Already use AI tools in day-to-day work to improve productivity, communication, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Be able to independently adopt and effectively use new software with minimal supervision.
Be comfortable working in a fast-changing technology environment.

Work From Home Requirements

Applicants must have:
A reliable laptop or desktop computer with a processor less than  3 years old .
High-speed broadband internet.
Reliable power backup.
A quiet, professional workspace suitable for handling patient calls.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday.
10-hour shift  (US Central Time Zone) , including a 1-hour break.
Work hours may occasionally extend depending on client requirements.
There may occasionally be a requirement to work  1–2 hours on Saturdays or Sundays  to support urgent practice needs.
