Contract:

New | Remote: 1 day/week

• Deliver integrated primary care mental health support as part of the Social Work Pilot, working with the Mental Health Hub and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Conduct comprehensive Sec9 assessments in the service user’s home and determine if a Sec
  42 enquiry is required.
• Evaluate needs, risks and circumstances of new to mental health service users quickly.
• Support improved Care Act compliance, quality and assurance within the primary care mental health offer.
• Collaborate with colleagues from Mind and NHS psychology at Rachel Notley House in Beckenham.
• Act as an intrinsic part of the pilot’s development and successful delivery, with a view to becoming business as usual.

• Qualified social worker with secondary mental health and adult safeguarding experience.
• Experience as an Enquiry Officer or similar role is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Care Act Sections9 and
  42.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a satellite team.
• Excellent assessment, decision‑making and communication skills.

• 1 day remote working per week.
• Parking available at the Civic Centre or Rachel Notley House.
• Access to a supportive senior social worker and experienced MDT.
