Overview

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is a national NHS Board that supports the renewal and long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland. In partnership with NHS Education for Scotland and NHS National Services Scotland, PSD Scotland provides training, procurement, logistics, blood, tissue and cell services, and national support to NHS Scotland.

• Conduct scientific literature reviews, analysis, interpretation and presentation of epidemiological and surveillance data.
• Provide specialist information, advice and support to stakeholders, including consultants, programme leads and senior nursing and scientific staff.
• Participate in research activities supporting the ARHAI Scotland Priority Programmes: NPGE, ICBED, CHIPC and Clinical Assurance.
• Contribute to the development of evidence‑based guidance within Health Protection.

• Post‑graduate education in a health or research field, or equivalent experience.
• Substantial track record in health protection, epidemiology or public health.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across stakeholder groups.
• Preferred interests: animal health, NHS knowledge and understanding of NHS values.

National post with a contract base in Glasgow. Hybrid working arrangement with option to work from home and access to other NHS PSD buildings across Scotland. Flexible Monday‑Friday working pattern, 36 hours per week. Must be a UK resident with entitlement to work in the UK.
