Assisted Living Alberta seeks an Occupational Therapist I for a Home Care role covering Chestermere and Airdrie. This position emphasizes your ability to connect clients with essential health services.

In this role, you will leverage a person-centered approach to facilitate care planning and support for clients. Providing comprehensive services, you will assess, treat, and guide individuals in achieving optimal functional abilities, working closely with families to evaluate interventions continually. Ideal for skilled professionals with a proactive, systems-thinking mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage clients by creating tailored care plans

• Assess and diagnose client needs within community settings

• Collaborate with stakeholders for effective care implementation

• Evaluate ongoing client responses to interventions

• Support professional development through mentoring

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required

• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists

• At least two years’ experience preferred

• Ability to work independently with reliable vehicle

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
