Position: Pharmacy Assistant for Remote Communities
Support northern Canada’s healthcare as a Pharmacy Assistant with The North West Company. This relocation role requires certification and two years of pharmacy experience.

The North West Company is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant dedicated to serving remote communities. This position involves receiving and processing prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, and managing inventory. Your skills in customer service and pharmacy operations will directly impact patient-centered health services in under-served regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process patient prescriptions following regulations

• Perform data entry and report generation as directed by the Pharmacist

• Fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed professional

• Select, measure, and prepare appropriate medications

• Maintain inventory and check for expired products monthly

Requirements:

• Certification from a recognized Pharmacy Technician program

• Minimum two years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant

• Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy management system

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and adhere to policies
