Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Psychological Wellbeing Support Worker to join the Wellbeing First team.

This role is primarily home-based, with the ability and willingness to travel to the Congleton Wellbeing Hub for occasional in-person sessions, as well as promoting events across Cheshire East and Warrington area as required.

Responsibilities

To assist in the delivery of Making Space aims and objectives to deliver a professional service by providing Mental Health support to those under the Wellbeing First project. The aim will be to improve service users wellbeing and Mental Health in line with contract targets and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out assessments to determine a person's appropriateness for wellbeing support
  • Ensure support is provided with the up most dignity and respect
  • Support with the promotion of the Wellbeing First service through attendance at networking, engagement and promotional events
  • Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping and reporting
  • Deliver on the relevant outcome indicators as defined by the Wellbeing Service Manager and Wellbeing First contractual requirements

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Psychology, or an equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
