Overview

Position: Patient Coordinator

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Contract: Temporary

Working pattern: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 37.5 hours per week

Status: Temp to Perm

• Act as a key liaison between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure clear and effective communication.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to support efficient clinic operations and optimal use of resources.
• Deliver excellent customer service, supporting patients throughout their appointment journey and assisting with booking and scheduling.
• Respond to patient enquiries promptly, providing accurate and clear information in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Process patient referrals and follow up on outstanding appointments as required.
• Work collaboratively with medical and administrative teams to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment that promotes a positive patient experience.

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and scheduling software.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from £13.00 to £14.36, commensurate with experience.
• Full-time hours in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
• 3 days based in Sutton Coldfield; 2 days working from home.
