Role
:

• Collaborate with a leading AI lab’s Gen-AI research team to improve AI model performance in Surgery.
• Provide deep subject-matter expertise in surgery to enhance training data quality and rigor.
• Develop and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to surgical topics.
• Create detailed guidelines and rubrics to evaluate medical reasoning and problem-solving tasks.
• Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks in multiple surgical specializations and write accurate, well-structured solutions.
• Evaluate medical tasks and solutions and deliver clear, actionable written feedback.
• Work closely with other domain experts to ensure the consistency and accuracy of training data.

Responsibilities
:

• Guide research teams to bridge knowledge gaps in AI models related to surgical practice.
• Set and uphold the gold standard in annotation and evaluation for surgery-related training data.
• Participate in regular calibration calls with client research teams.
• Deliver high-impact, flexible remote work that contributes to state-of-the-art AI in medicine.
