Imagine working somewhere that genuinely lives its values: this isn’t about churning through back-to-back bookings or ticking boxes. Our client’s ethos is all about best-in-class paediatric OT, with bespoke, creative and neuro-affirming approaches at the very core of what they do. Their tranquil clinic sits in acres of rural Hampshire farmland — a calm, open-plan space perfect for sensory integration work and meaningful, relationship-centred therapy.
You’ll be part of a highly specialised team who love what they do and care deeply about children and young people (from age 2 up to 25). You’ll see families in homes, schools and clinics, using flexible, thoughtful ways to support development, regulation, confidence and real-world skills.
If you’re someone who thrives on clinical autonomy, values quality reporting, enjoys vibrant professional collaboration, and wants to be part of a practice that’s making a genuine difference in neurodiversity services, this setup is a very lovely fit.
All About YouTo shine in this role you’ll need:
BSc in Occupational Therapy
HCPC Registered
RCOT Member (with professional indemnity insurance)
Enhanced DBS
2–4 years’ paediatric OT experience
Confidence using standardised assessments & sensor tools
Experience supporting neurodiverse children and young people
Full UK driving licence + your own vehicle
A laptop and smartphone (self-employed requirement)
Hampshire/South-East based or willing to travel
Desirable:
Sensory Integration training
Conducting engaging OT assessments in clinic, school and home settings
Using creative, bespoke approaches tailored to each child and family
Writing high-quality reports (EHCP, tribunal and bespoke clinical reporting)
Delivering meaningful intervention just where it matters
Supporting families and educators with strategies that actually work
Collaborating with local schools, councils and professionals
Managing your own caseload with professional autonomy
This role is all about thoughtful planning, excellent clinical standards and building strong rapport — with time valued for both treatment and reporting.
Working Hours & EnvironmentMinimum 18 hours/week (3 days) — up to full-time available
Term-time minimum (38 weeks) or year-round options
Rolling long‑term contract
Initial induction includes more frequent clinic time and supportive supervision
Travel to clients is part of everyday life — but don’t worry, it’s fully compensated (travel time + mileage), and the rural clinic is a joy to work in when you’re on site.
