OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the delivery of the NIHR funded research project RISH, which aims to understand if limiting food and fluids is a symptom of an eating disorder. The project will work with young people, families and professionals to explore their experiences of treatment and support needs. The project will help create guidance for clinicians and make recommendations to improve care.
Job Responsibilities- Facilitate the delivery of the research project, conduct qualitative interviews, and manage data collection and content analysis.
- Recruit participants, families and staff; screen for eligibility; complete research measures and data entry; engage clinical teams.
- Support dissemination of research outputs through newsletters, academic publications and stakeholder briefings.
- Assist with other duties related to research projects identified by the Trial Coordinator, Research Project Manager and Yorkshire & Humber Research Delivery Network.
- Educated to degree level, 2.1 or above in a health‑related discipline (e.g. psychology, nursing, social sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Experience of content analysis, large data set analysis and qualitative interviews.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with collaborative approaches.
- Understanding of research processes and methodologies (e.g., GCP, informed consent, data handling, confidentiality).
- Demonstrated ability to spot small issues and intervene to prevent escalation.
- Demonstrated willingness to support colleagues and others as needed.
- Demonstrated kindness and understanding towards others.
