You will provide clear visible and professional advice to our client’s employees by providing the full Occupational Health remit in line with the client contract including consultation, advice, education, medical assessments, and D&A testing where appropriate. The role involves conducting case management appointments, assessing employee fitness for work, issuing fitness certificates, responding to client and manager queries, maintaining accurate records per NMC standards, and providing health surveillance in accordance with current legislation.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
- Provide professional, comprehensive and evidence-based written reports.
- Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH.
- Provide fitness medicals and health surveillance where required that meet best practice requirements and in line with Health Partners’ policies and protocols.
- Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance and ensure correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate.
- Maintain valid and up-to-date registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues, clinical supervision and continuous learning and development as a registered nurse.
- Be proficient in the provision of Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, Fitness for role assessment.
Registered Nurse (Part
1), with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma. Excellent time management, meticulous written skills and attention to detail, ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, understanding of own competence, with experience in delivering case management and providing OH advice. Proficiency in IT and data protection principles. Experience in delivering case management and providing OH advice.
This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.
LocationThis is a hybrid role based at our client’s site in Inchinnan, with up to three days onsite and remaining days working from home.
