Overview
The role of Part-time Hybrid Physical Therapist at SAMU 31 is based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Physical Therapist will assess patients’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions in clinical and home-care settings.
Responsibilities- Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility techniques.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and safety standards.
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Demonstrated skills in patient care and home care, including compassionate interaction, clear communication, and safe in-home treatment delivery.
- Basic understanding of medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions commonly managed in physical therapy.
- Relevant professional license or registration as a Physical Therapist in Singapore, or eligibility to obtain it.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent accredited program.
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community rehabilitation settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Proficiency in maintaining clinical records, using electronic health systems, and following evidence-based practice guidelines.
