Relief Support Worker

Mencap is seeking passionate Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Worksop.

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

A Driver is essential for this role.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life.

Days:
Between 07:00- 22:00

A sleep in is essential for this role.

Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.

This position does not meet the minimum salary requirements for a Health and Care visa under the UK Skilled Worker route, as set by the Home Office. Therefore, although Mencap is a licensed sponsor, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. £26,228 per annum, pro-rata + excellent benefits.
