Casual Community Support Worker

Strive is seeking casual on-call Community Support Workers for our Pine Tree Day Program. This part-time role requires experience in behavior management and personal care to assist individuals with various needs. Flexibility is key, as shifts may be called out last minute to accommodate participant requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
• Create meaningful routines and promote independence
• Follow health care plans while documenting daily activities
• Implement personal protocols and schedules for participants
• Facilitate community integration and life skill teaching
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in personal care
• Class 4 or 5 BC Driver’s License preferred
• Clean driver’s abstract required
• Valid Criminal Record Check
• First Aid and CPR certification
