Job Overview

Care Team Leader at Extra Care's Retirement Scheme – Sunley Court, Kettering.

Part-time, 29.5 hours per week. Four shifts per week: two early shifts (06:45 – 14:30) and two late shifts (14:15 – 22:15) with sleep-in. No extra payment for sleep-in; sleep-in included in hourly rate. May be overtime available. Requires working on alternate weekends.

£16.59 per hour.

• Manage a team of Care Assistants and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Develop, implement and maintain individual care and support plans.
• Provide residents and relatives with an effective communication network.
• Ensure residents are encouraged to reach their optimum level of independence.
• Ensure all administrative systems are implemented effectively.

• NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Experience managing a team within a similar environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
