As our service continues to grow, we are seeking HCPC‑registered Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologists to join our expanding neurodevelopmental assessment team. This role is ideal for experienced clinicians who are confident delivering ADHD and autism diagnostic assessments remotely and producing high‑quality diagnostic reports within an established clinical governance framework.

Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism diagnostic assessments for children and adults via secure video consultation
  • Complete structured clinical interviews using recognised assessment tools (e.g. DIVA, ADOS‑2, developmental history interviews and other appropriate diagnostic frameworks)
  • Review pre‑assessment questionnaires, developmental information, school reports, and relevant clinical documentation
  • Produce clear, evidence‑based diagnostic reports in line with NICE guidance and professional standards
  • Deliver structured feedback sessions following assessment
  • Identify and consider co‑occurring conditions where clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, prescribers, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with HCPC standards, GDPR, and internal governance processes
  • Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and quality assurance activities
Qualifications
  • HCPC‑registered Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, or Educational Psychologist
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting ADHD and autism assessments within a private clinical setting
  • Demonstrable experience assessing both adults and children
  • Confident using structured diagnostic assessment tools
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and report‑writing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of DSM‑5 and/or ICD‑11 diagnostic criteria
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills
  • Experience using the DIVA 2.0 assessment tool
  • ADOS‑2 training and experience
  • Experience with combined ADHD and autism assessments
  • Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary private practice
  • Interest in service development, peer consultation, or clinical leadership
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary from £70,000 per annum
  • Full‑time and part‑time opportunities
  • Fully remote working
  • Structured assessment pathways and report templates
  • Administrative support and established clinical systems
  • Strong clinical governance and regular supervision
  • Supportive, neurodiversity‑affirming clinical culture
  • Opportunities to contribute to service development as the organisation grows
