Join CLIC as a Disability Case Manager II, managing claims in a hybrid work model. Leverage your expertise to support clients and ensure efficient disability claims management.
As part of the Group Benefits team at CLIC, you will adjudicate early intervention and disability claims, developing case management plans while communicating with claimants and healthcare providers.
Your role is critical in minimizing claim durations and supporting individuals in their return to work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review documentation for disability claims thoroughly
• Triage claims to assess rehabilitation potential
• Conduct interviews with claimants and employers
• Implement strategies to minimize disability periods
• Communicate effectively with all relevant parties
Requirements:
• Degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant case management experience
• Associate, Life and Health Claims designation preferred
• Proficiency in English mandatory
• Ability to conduct independent medical assessments
