Overview

Momenta Connect is looking for an ambitious Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to grow their clinical skills in a strong team environment. The role prioritises work-life balance with a Summer Contract that maximises annual leave and a trial of 10% rest each day.

Job Title: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Regional Role, London
- Central and Greater London

Salary: Up to £55,000 FTE, dependent on experience – plus a welcome bonus of £2000 (£1000 after successful completion of 3 months and £1000 after successful completion of probation). All experience levels considered – multiple positions available due to growth

Hours: 37.5 Hour Week
- Flexible working across 6 days (Monday-Saturday)

Contract: Permanent
- Summer contract – 50 weeks (5 weeks off in summer break, + 22 days holiday)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team and work primarily in school settings with potential for clinic and remote based work. You will assess needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and provide specialist interventions. You will collaborate with parents, carers, multidisciplinary and teaching teams to ensure interventions are integrated into the young person s daily life and equip key adults with the skills to support therapy goals.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments for EHCPs, develop and implement individualised intervention plans, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. You will maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care for children and young people with complex needs.

Location:

Primarily school-based work with some clinic and remote opportunities available to the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for EHCPs and develop individualised intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to integrate goals into daily life.
  • Provide training and upskilling to key adults and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Work primarily in school settings with potential clinic and remote options.
Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience in paediatric settings.
  • Experience with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting.
  • Experience working with complex behaviours.
  • Experience completing assessments for EHCPs.
  • Specialist CPD and/or training.
  • Trauma-Informed care experience.
  • Experience with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs.
