Company Description

Kids First Singapore is an early intervention center for children with special needs, offering integrated speech and occupational therapy services. The center provides an inclusive and structured learning environment for children aged 2 to 12 with diverse challenges, including Autism, language delays, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and Down syndrome. Kids First also offers clinic-based pediatric therapy programs for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17, supporting social-emotional, language and communication, cognitive, and physical development.

All interventions are based on evidence-based practice, ensuring families receive high-quality, effective care. Kids First was recognized as the Honey Kids Asia Gold Winner for Best Early Intervention Centre in 2023.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site clinic work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children with a wide range of developmental needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with occupational therapists and other professionals to deliver integrated care.

The role involves engaging families and caregivers through education and training, documenting clinical progress, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The Speech Language Pathologist will also contribute to maintaining evidence-based practices and supporting program development within the center.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Speech Therapy and assessment of Speech and Communication Disorders
  • Experience working with Language Disorders across receptive and expressive language
  • Clinical skills in managing Dysphagia and related feeding and swallowing difficulties (preferred)
  • Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with current professional registration or eligibility for registration in Singapore
  • Experience in pediatric settings, particularly early intervention and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and caregivers
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and culturally responsive care
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills, with comfort using digital tools for hybrid work
