Director of Pharmacovigilance and Safety

Become the Senior Director of Pharmacovigilance at Everest Clinical Research, based in Markham or from any home office in Canada. This role is crucial for overseeing safety operations in clinical trials and post-marketing processes.

This senior leadership position is designed for experienced professionals committed to excellence in drug safety management. You will manage clinical trial safety operations while spearheading global post-marketing safety initiatives. Your ability to navigate complex regulations and build strategic frameworks will ensure the highest standards for our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the operational delivery of trial safety services

• Lead the infrastructure development for post-marketing safety

• Create and implement comprehensive SOPs for safety

• Ensure compliance with all expedited submission requirements

• Collaborate on regulatory document preparation and submission

Requirements:

• PharmD, MD, PhD, or Master’s in relevant life sciences

• A minimum of 10 years in drug safety/pharmacovigilance

• Leadership experience within a CRO setting for at least 5 years

• In-depth understanding of FDA regulations and GVP

• Mastery of validated safety database systems
