Home-Based Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Care Company is on the lookout for dedicated Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistants to join our community rehabilitation team. This full-time position offers the chance to work directly with clients across regions such as York, Simcoe, and Newmarket.

Your role will involve implementing treatment plans, supporting mobility, and ensuring client safety and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans under OT/PT supervision

• Assist clients with exercises and mobility training

• Monitor and document client progress and observations

• Provide caregiver education and support

• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

• OTA/PTA certification from a recognized institution

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Negative TB test completed within the last year

• Valid CPR/First Aid and WHMIS certifications
