Toworkaspartofthe Healthcare team,providingadministrativesupport,ensuringsafeworkingpracticeinasecureenvironmentinaccordancewiththe Prison Healthcare Standard, Prison Service rules and Prison service Standing Orders.

The post holder will work in close liaison with other disciplines within the prison setting and with external agencies in arranging appointments to meet patient care.

Thepostholderwillbefullyintegratedwithinateamofmulti-disciplinary individuals.

Therolewillinvolveworkingattimeswithoutdirectsupervision,undertakingdelegatedtasksandreportingbacktotheline manager.

Thepostholderwillactivelyparticipateintheongoingdevelopmentofpositiveworkingrelationshipswithofficersandstaffthroughoutthe prison.

Person specification Security Vetting
  • Application evidences 3 years of continuous UK residency
Skills and abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing own workload
  • Managing an unpredictable work stream on a daily basis.
  • Previous experience of working in a prison or secure environment.
Qualifications /Experience
  • Good level of general education
  • NVQ LEVEL 3 in business administration
  • Working knowledge of systmone
  • Experience of collating and inputting data.
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting
  • Have an understanding of patient confidentiality
