Position: OHS Senior Advisor Hybrid Role BC
Join Safe Care BC as a Senior OHS Advisor and promote health and safety initiatives in a hybrid work model. Make a tangible impact in the continuing care sector across the province.

As part of the Safe Care BC team, you'll leverage your OHS knowledge to develop programs, resources, and trainings aimed at reducing workplace injuries among healthcare workers. The role involves collaboration, project coordination, and a focus on legislative adherence in complex healthcare settings. Your innovative approach and solutions-driven mindset will greatly enhance our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote OHS initiatives and supportive member services

• Design and continuously improve OHS resources and tools

• Analyze and report on OHS data and trends

• Engage in collaborative projects to support members

• Deliver educational training and workshops to health workers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety

• At least 3-5 years of practical OHS experience

• Knowledge of Workers Compensation Act and OHS regulations

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Access to a vehicle is preferred
