Companion Role for Seniors in Home Care

Provide compassionate care as a Senior Companion focused on enhancing seniors' quality of life. This home-based role involves personal care, companionship, and homemaking services.

We seek a trustworthy Senior Companion who plays an instrumental role in helping clients feel secure and independent  this position, you will be responsible for emotional support, meal preparation, and assisting clients with errands. Light housekeeping tasks will maintain a pleasant living space for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistent companionship and emotional encouragement

• Assist clients in meal planning and cooking

• Support with transportation and shopping needs

• Handle light housekeeping duties like mopping and laundry

• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients

Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in companion or homemaking roles preferred

• Ability to pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment

• Strong communication skills in English required

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
