Role Description This part-time, hybrid role in Singapore is open to Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists (AHPC Registered), and Stretch Therapists with community experience. The therapist will provide client-centered assessments and interventions in home, community, and occasional telehealth settings, applying holistic rehab principles to support functional independence and quality of life. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering individualized therapy sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and educating clients, caregivers, and families on strategies for ongoing functional improvement.
The role allows for some work-from-home activities such as documentation, care coordination, and virtual consultations, while maintaining a strong community-based presence.
Qualifications
- Clinical and rehabilitation skills, including Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and relevant Medicine knowledge for community-based practice.
- Strong Communication abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate clients and caregivers, and document care clearly.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics and working with diverse age groups in home and community settings.
- Current AHPC registration (for Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist) or equivalent professional certification for Stretch Therapist.
- Experience in community or home-based rehabilitation, especially with complex conditions (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia), is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and adapt therapy approaches to varied environments.
- Commitment to holistic, person-centered care and ongoing professional development.
