We are recruiting Functional Assessors here at Ingeus UK. These roles are remote and will be focused on conducting initial reviews and paper-based assessments in the first instance before moving into delivering full PIP and WCA assessments within 12 months. This isa great opportunity to start your journey as a remote Functional Assessor.

Whatyou'llbe doing for the first 12 months asa Functional Assessor

  • Liaising directly with claimants, using active listening and questioning skills to obtainadditionalevidence where neededin order to complete the assessment.
  • Liaising with clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities, and support organisations to obtain and evaluate evidence thatassistsin the production of detailed assessment reports.
  • Triaging cases todeterminethe assessment route a case will take.
  • Conducting initial case reviews, fileworkandpaper-based assessments.
  • Applying critical thinking and logical reasoning to produceaccurateand detailed reports on each case.

  • Has confidence in their ability to use computers and in learning different software packages to complete detailed, high-quality reports for all claimants assessed.
  • Thrives in a working environment that offers structure and the opportunity to use your clinical skills ina different way.

  • You prefer a more hands on approach to clinical care.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

  • NMC-registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics or GPHC-registered Pharmacists.

With excellent communication & critical-thinking skills, the ability to type and confidence using computers
