252868 Project Support Worker

Join our award-winning Active Lives programme and help make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of communities across Dumfries & Galloway. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to support the delivery of a range of health and wellbeing projects. This is a varied role where you will work alongside health and social care teams, communities and partner organisations to plan, deliver and evaluate initiatives that help people to be more active and improve their wellbeing.

As part of this role, you will also provide remote project support to NHS Tayside for two days per week, working on similar programmes and contributing to wider system learning and collaboration.

You will bring strong IT skills, excellent communication and organisational ability, and experience of supporting or coordinating projects. You will be confident managing competing priorities, working both independently and as part of a team, and building effective relationships across a range of partners.

Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for supporting people to live more active, healthier lives and reducing inequalities within our communities.
