ResponsibilitiesWho will I be supporting?
Caroline
, a young lady in her mid 20s who joined Dimensions in her own supported living bungalow in 2023, is looking for an experienced female support worker to help her achieve her goals, encourage and support her in developing her independence.
Caroline has autism and is very much into structure and routine in her daily life, she thoroughly enjoys watching films, TV series, such as Masked Singer. She enjoys arts and crafts at home as well as buying all different kinds of stationary. She loves getting her nails done and looking through examples of nail art to help her decide what design she would like.
She also enjoys eating out and visiting attractions within the North East.
Caroline is very close to her family and maintaining this relationship is very important to her and she likes to spend regular time with them.
Friendly, patient and reliable support workers who take an active interest in their hobbies and activities would be wonderful matches.
What will I be doing? You will be supporting Caroline to engage in the community and home based activities, as well as supporting her to learn life skills and elements of independence within the home.
Support will include prompting of personal care and provide support if required, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
